Trauma Aware Practice Training

The Growing Edge Trauma Aware Practice training is designed to help teams make sense and meaning of how trauma is experienced personally, in teams and within the system we work within. There is a focus on how this has and continues to influence wellbeing, language and the ways in which we all work.

Using experiential learning from our time in the NHS and the Charity sector, backed up by the latest theoretical understandings, our five day training package is designed to increase awareness, develop practice and support an ongoing culture of reflective practice to help change the environments we work within. We want to be a change agent in helping people understand how felt trauma influences us all and can create traumatised systems that we work within.

Evidence Base

The Growing Edge Trauma Aware Practice training has a net promoter score (NPS) of 100. This is because of our relational and bespoke approach taken to ensure that training is attuned and relevant to the personal and professional context of the people accessing it. Please get in touch for a conversation to explore any ideas you may have about how this could support you and your teams.

The Training Summary

At the end of each training a report will be produced pulling together some of the theory, actions and ideas from the group. This can be used as a single action plan or to feed into wider organisational or system developments.

“Our ambition is to contribute to the increased understanding of trauma that is present in our society, so that through greater awareness and empathy we can move towards a more trauma informed society”
